Publisher's Description:

Super Fdisk - Super Fdisk is a FREE driven disk partition manager. With the freeware you can quickly and easily create, delete, format partitions on IDE/ATA/SATA/SCSI hard disk drives without destroying data. Super Fdisk can be installed on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 and it is easy to create emergency floppy disk or burn bootable CD to manage partitions.

With SUPER FDISK you can:
- Create primary, extended and logical partitions
- Delete primary, extended and logical partitions
- Format FAT partitions
- Backup or Restore the MBR, Partition Table, Boot sector
- Hide and unhide FAT, NTFS/HPFS, EXT2, EXT3, SWAP partitions
- Activate/deactivate a partition
- Show the partition table
- Show characteristics of hard disks
- Erase MBR for a hard disk

in a highly flexible and comfortable way from the GRAPHICS.

SUPER FDISK supports all partition types. The original FDISK program doesn't allow you to create more than one primary partition. SUPER FDISK does, therefore it's a powerful tool for creating any combinations of partitions. This can be extremely useful for system administrators and OS deployment.

It can be used to delete NTFS partition
Once I have problem with broken ntfs.sys file and my WinXP cannot boot. Even worse, my WinXP installer CD can't continue to install a fresh windows due to an error.
Thanks to Super Fdisk, altough it can't format a partition as NTFS, but it can read an NTFS partition and even more it can delete an NTFS partition. After deleting the existing NTFS partition, my WinXP CD can continue normaly recreating the NTFS partition and installing a fresh copy of windows.
Good Job!!

A Fizzer
Couldn't even get the downloaded program to launch.

I hoped to be able to remove a partion to allow one OS to use the whole drive, without losing data.

Still hoping, but not with this particular Fdisk.

It worked, but hard to tell...
I run W98SE on a (no, don't laugh) Pentium II. It does what I need for working, rather than playing. I bought a second hard drive, taking me from 3Gb to a vertiginous 43. Partitioned the new drive with Partition Magic, all well, made a 10Gb part. for Linux, to run a dual-boot. I installed a Mandrake 8 build, but it fucked up the MBR on both disks, so I had to re-install Win through the DOS to get my C drive back. The second drive had gone well weird, and P.Magic was no help - I suppose that the MBR was corrupt. I ran SFD, and although the mouse would not respond, a series of automatic messages found and fixed errors on both disks, and now all is well. So, thanks, even though I don't really understand what it did, not having had access to the menus...

Combining Partitions
I have a 7meg partitions that was created by a backup program that I need to recover and combine back to my active partition and I just can't seem to figure out how to do it with your program.
Maybe you could help me?
Bill Aitken
bill2455@cox.net

the program that made the partition is called True Image 9 and in my mind the support is a big fat zero, my computer was in such a bad state it took over two days to bring it back to the present state with two partition and the software back to working state.

Again any help you can give me would be a life saver.

Thanks

This software saved me
I recently installed ubuntu (version of linux) and I found that it had hidden my windows and back up partitions, this software helped me unhide them and get my system working again. The only feature i find that it lacks in is the ability to format a drive in the NTFS file system, but apart from that 10/10

Author's Response:
Hi,Super Fdisk works only in DOS system, so it can't format NTFS partitions. Please try our another product "EASEUS Partion Manager".

Works for me!
This is a great value for the $. The interface is pretty intuitive and useful. I was able to figure it out in a very short time. I use both Linux and Windows and multiple computers, and I use external drives to share data between computers. Unfortunately most drives are preformatted NTFS, and it's a lot of aggro to use Captive to try to be able to write to an NTFS drive from Linux. WinXP won't format a hard drive as FAT32, and the partitioning program I have in my Linux distro plotzes if you try to format a large drive.

Wit Super FDisk, it's no worries. Boot, select your drive and desired filesystem, tell it to format, pop open a cold one, and by the time you have your second sip, you're all ready to go. It's a beautiful thing. I recommend it to everyone.

download a different program
My problem was that W98SE scandisk was not seeing all my logical drives.
When I used SuperFdisk I was told to go back to the webpage and download a different program which would rebuild my partition table. I did this and it appeared to work up to the point of actually writing the partiton table where it stopped. My drive is 250 gigabytes and my BIOS recognizes it. It is formatted as FAT 32. I cloned my previous drive which was about 132G in size. ScanDisk never had any problem defragging it; i.e. all drives were seen.

Author's Response:
Thanks for using it!

I wanted mountpoints for my flash drive
I normally use another program, but that program was not able to create more than one mount point on my flash disk. So I downloaded this program and hoped it could. It could do less with the flash disk, however.

A little bit confused
Well, to be honest, I was a little bit confused after download, because I got a fairly different application than advertised, even its name was different :)

Anyways, it was fairly good, nothing special, I must say. Got the same function as Windows XP disk management software.

And, what was the worst part for me, it does not allow you to make a partition "not active" after it is made active accidentally.

FDisk - a saviour
Great piece of software that got me out of a bit of bother when my PC decided to take a schizoid embolism.
